DR Valve valves are built with a coating of HVOF (High Velocity, Oxy Fuel) and carbide. HVOF uses confines combustion and an extnded nozzle to heat and accelerate the powdered coatin material.HVOF devides operate at hypersonic gas velocities, I.E. greater than Mach 5. These extreme velocities provide Kinetic Energy which help produce dense coatings and well adhered.
The design od the valve includes a triple, a unique design that allows the valve to have a bigger flow control.
First Offset: The shaft is offset behind the seat axis to allow complete sealing contact around the entire seat.
Second Offset: The shaft is offset from the pipe and valve which provides interference free opening ang closing valve.
Third Offset: The seat cone axis is offset from the shaft centerline to eliminate friction during closing and opening and to achieve uniform compressive sealing around the entire seat.

The valve has all ball type general uses, however, it's applications are extended due to a V-shaped notch in the internal ball, allowing a flow control depending in the point of the rotation which means a wider or narrower hole in the ball. So the valve can be used as a control valve with low cost compared with other control valves.
